Overview
As a Junior Web Developer at Azad, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites that deliver seamless user experiences and align with client goals. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual with a passion for web development, primarily focusing on WordPress and Shopify.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Implement website layouts, themes, and functionalities based on project requirements.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid to enhance website design and interactivity.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to themes, plugins, and integrations.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to implement user-friendly and visually appealing websites.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure smooth website functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in WordPress and Shopify development.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in WordPress and Shopify, including theme customization, plugin management, and Liquid coding.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with PHP.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Experience with website builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg (WordPress).
- Ability to integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and Shopify apps.
